Der Bundesrat hat zwischen dem 1. Juli 2014 und dem 1. Juli 2015 auf Antrag der vertragschliessenden Parteien hin 28 Gesamtarbeitsvertr\u00e4ge (GAV) auf Bundesebene f\u00fcr allgemeinverbindlich erkl\u00e4rt. In derselben Zeitspanne wurden auf kantonaler Ebene 22 GAV f\u00fcr allgemeinverbindlich erkl\u00e4rt und vom Departement f\u00fcr Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung (WBF) genehmigt. Bei 5 Verfahren (3 Bund, 2 Kanton) wurden neu ausgehandelte GAV f\u00fcr allgemeinverbindlich erkl\u00e4rt. Bei 47 Verfahren (25 Bund, 22 Kanton) handelte es sich um Verl\u00e4ngerungs-, Wiederinkraftsetzungs- oder \u00c4nderungsbeschl\u00fcsse.

\nAm 1. Juli 2015 waren auf Bundesebene 40 und auf kantonaler Ebene 35 allgemeinverbindliche GAV in Kraft. Diesen sind insgesamt 70\u2019450 Arbeitgeber und 658\u2019120 Arbeitnehmende (Bund) bzw. 8795 Arbeitgeber und 64\u2019658 Arbeitnehmende (Kanton) unterstellt. Die bedeutendsten allgemeinverbindlichen Gesamtarbeitsvertr\u00e4ge sind der L-GAV f\u00fcr das Gastgewerbe sowie der Landesmantelvertrag (LMV) und der GAV FAR im Bauhauptgewerbe. Sie allein betreffen rund 34\u2019260 Arbeitgeber und 291\u2019070 Arbeitnehmende. <\/p>\n
