\nEntre le 1er juillet 2011 et le 1er juillet 2012, \u00e0 la demande des associations contrac-\u2028tantes, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a \u00e9tendu le champ d\u2019application de 30 conventions collectives de travail (ci-apr\u00e8s CCT) au niveau f\u00e9-\u2028d\u00e9ral. Dans la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, le D\u00e9partement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l\u2019\u00e9conomie (DFE) a approuv\u00e9 27 d\u00e9cisions cantonales d\u2019extension. Le champ d\u2019application de CCT nouvellement n\u00e9goci\u00e9es a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendu dans 11 cas (3 nationales, 8 cantonales). Les 46 autres d\u00e9cisions (27 nationales, 19 cantonales) ont concern\u00e9 des prorogations, des remises en vigueur ou des modifications de CCT.Au 1er juillet 2012, 35 CCT nationales \u00e9tendues et 36 CCT cantonales \u00e9tendues \u00e9taient en vigueur.<\/i> Les CCT nationales \u00e9tendues touchent au total 65\u2009555 employeurs et 566\u2009820 travailleurs; les CCT cantonales \u00e9tendues touchent 7490 employeurs et 59\u2009409 travailleurs. Les CCT \u00e9tendues les plus importantes sont celle conclue au niveau national pour les h\u00f4tels, restaurants et caf\u00e9s ainsi que celle qui r\u00e9git la retraite antici-\u2028p\u00e9e dans le secteur principal de la cons-\u2028truction en Suisse. Elles concernent \u00e0 elles seules quelque 33\u2009315 employeurs et 290\u2009570 travailleurs.
