\nEntre le 1er juillet 2010 et le 1er juillet 2011, \u00e0 la demande des associations contractantes, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a \u00e9tendu le champ d\u2019application de 28 conventions collectives de travail (ci-apr\u00e8s CCT) au niveau f\u00e9d\u00e9ral. Dans la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, le D\u00e9partement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l\u2019\u00e9conomie (DFE) a approuv\u00e9 25 arr\u00eat\u00e9s d\u2019extension cantonaux. Le champ d\u2019application des CCT nouvellement n\u00e9goci\u00e9es a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendu dans 7 d\u00e9cisions (3 nationales, 4 cantonales). Les 46 autres d\u00e9cisions (25 nationales, 21 cantonales) ont concern\u00e9 des prorogations, des remises en vigueur ou des modifications de CCT.Au 1er juillet 2011, 36 CCT nationales \u00e9tendues et 31 CCT cantonales \u00e9tendues \u00e9taient en vigueur. Les CCT nationales \u00e9tendues touchent au total 65 587 employeurs et 491 540 travailleurs. Les CCT cantonales \u00e9tendues touchent 5859 employeurs et 50 657 travailleurs. Les CCT \u00e9tendues les plus importantes concernent les h\u00f4tels, restaurants et caf\u00e9s ainsi que le secteur principal de la construction. Elles int\u00e9ressent, \u00e0 elles seules, quelque 33 315 employeurs et 290 570 travailleurs.
