\nEntre le 1er juillet 2004 et le 1er juillet 2005, \u00e0 la demande des associations contractantes, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a \u00e9tendu le champ d’application de 25 conventions collectives de travail (ci-apr\u00e8s CCT) au niveau f\u00e9d\u00e9ral. Dans la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, le D\u00e9partement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l’\u00e9conomie (DFE) a approuv\u00e9 20 d\u00e9cisions cantonales d’extension. Dans 16 d\u00e9cisions (6 nationales, 10 cantonales), il s’est agi de \u00abd\u00e9cisions de base\u00bb par lesquelles le champ d’application de CCT nouvellement n\u00e9goci\u00e9es a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tendu. Dans 29 d\u00e9cisions (19 nationales, 10 cantonales) il s’est agi de prorogations, remises en vigueur ou modifications de CCT.\u00a0Au 1er juillet 2005, 27 CCT nationales et 23 cantonales \u00e9taient en vigueur, \u00e9tendues respectivement par arr\u00eat\u00e9 du Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral ou du Conseil d’\u00c9tat du canton en question. Les CCT nationales \u00e9tendues touchent au total 63068 employeurs et 473901 travailleurs; les CCT cantonales \u00e9tendues touchent 6442 employeurs et 46139 travailleurs. Les CCT \u00e9tendues les plus importantes sont celles des h\u00f4tels, restaurants et caf\u00e9s, ainsi que la convention nationale (CN) et la CCT pour la retraite anticip\u00e9e (RA) du secteur principal de la construction en Suisse. Elles concernent \u00e0 elles seules quelque 33320 employeurs et 290570 travailleurs.\u00a0Durant cette p\u00e9riode, le Conseil f\u00e9d\u00e9ral a abrog\u00e9 l’extension du champ d’application d’une CCT pour la menuiserie, en raison du vide conventionnel apparu dans cette branche.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
